Terbutaline is only used to slow/stop early contractions. Its a very mild medication and is similar whats in asthma medications. So nothing to get worried about. It just means the baby is likely to come sooner than later. Even if the baby was born today he would probably be alright. We would prefer to wait at least a couple more weeks so he can get fatter.

Your gallery opening also falls right at the start of a window where statistically 90% of women give birth with reference to their due date. If it was a week earlier we would probably risk it and be there.

Our doctor has advised us not to travel too far from the hospital. Crystal has already been given shots of terbutaline to stop early regular contractions. So its likely we'll deliver before our due date but of course nobody really knows.

Your right. I was playing around with iso 1600 and 3200 last night and they were coming out way better. You could only notice a little noise when you zoom in. Thanks for the info.

Really? I'll have to play around with the iso more. I've been keeping the iso low and just trying steady the camera and use a longer tv. Your way sounds better though; noise is certainly more fixable than blur.

Im just happy that I have real control over the aperture and shutter speed now. Finally can shorten the dof enough for good portraits and hold the shutter open long enough to do light painting.
